We’re proud to support our local club, Flushing and Mylor Pilot Gig Club, whose members sported our beautiful logo illustration by Sarah Humphries on their t-shirt at the The Great River Race in London!
Based in a stunning boathouse near Kiln Quay, Flushing, the club is a welcoming community for anyone passionate about gig rowing. Rowers can enjoy the calm inner harbour near Penryn, the bustling main harbour, or venture into the expansive waters of Falmouth Bay and Carrick Roads. They headed up to London for The Great River Race back in September, for London’s River Marathon. It’s a spectacular boat race covering 21.6 miles from Millwall in the East to Richmond in the West, travelling under London’s famous bridges.
