This September, we were very lucky to take a trip away to the beautiful Greek island of Corfu, along with fifteen of our core staff members from across all three of our restaurants (now four with Hooked On The Rocks in Falmouth!) With the season wrapping up, we thought it would be lovely for us all to have a holiday away, and to soak up some greek sun.
We arrived in Corfu, at 9am, ready to enjoy the following few days in the sunshine. On the first day, we spent a couple of hours exploring the local town and all its natural beauty, sightseeing some gorgeous historical monuments – and even enjoying some fishing!
The astonishing saltwater did wonders for our spirits as we lounged by the sea, either soaking up the sun or dipping our toes beneath the waves. We all greatly appreciated the opportunity to experience and enjoy such a historically rich place such as Corfu, to recharge after the end of a successful summer season!
After such a fruitful holiday with our amazing staff, we cannot wait for future staff holidays. We enjoy being able to treat and appreciate our staff after their hard work throughout the summer, and we’re very thankful to be able to show our appreciation through these getaways.
